Manager’s message

We had a fantastic couple of days at the Festival Of Thrift, which was centred around up-cycling and how to become more eco-friendly in all that we do. A particular highlight for us was our partnership with The Wood Workshop, who were challenged with building a go-kart out of recycled materials. We supported their efforts by supplying hammers and PPE to keep the little thrifters safe.

A huge variety of makers frequent the store and we would like to showcase this talent by holding a Christmas woodworking event in-store on the first weekend of December. If you would like to showcase your work then please get in touch as soon as possible as spaces are limited.

Here are a few ideas on how to turn your workshop waste into Halloween wonder. These decorations are easy to do, inexpensive and fun to do with your little monsters (monsters, zombies and children must always have adult supervision when operating tools and machinery).

Open House

Thank you to all those that attended our Open House at our headquarters in Devon. It was great to meet so many people as passionate about tools and machinery as we are. Look out for some highlights in our knowledge piece.
