Tuesday 2nd – Logosol representative Per Karlsson will be in-store showcasing the full capabilities of the Logosol PH360 Four Sided Planer/Moulder. Come along between 1-3pm and ask the expert how these machines will benefit your business.

Saturday 13th – Our in-store specialist David Edwards will be showcasing our Arbotech range, including the TurboPlane Blade, Mini-Carver, TURBOShaft and the Ball Gouge. Come along between 10am-4pm and get hands-on with the Arbortech range and see just how good these tools are.

Saturday 20th – We are excited to welcome one of Britain’s foremost stick carvers to store, Ian James. Ian is well known for his unique and brilliantly realistic carved animal and bird walking sticks. This is an opportunity not to be missed by anyone interested in this fascinating style of stick making.

Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st – We have a fantastic weekend planned for those interested in carving – the British Woodcarvers Association (South Wales Region) will be in our Cardiff store on both days from 10am-4pm.

Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st – We will be attending the Cardiff Model Railway Show demonstrating Proxxon and Axminster model engineering machines and hand tools – it’s a miniature event that’s sure to make a big impression, we look forward to seeing you there!

Saturday 27th – An all-new range of Craft machines are being introduced to appeal to woodworking enthusiasts looking for performance and features which exceed an entry-level machine. You’ll be able to get hands-on with the first of these machines – including lathes, drill presses and compressors. This will provide an ideal opportunity to appreciate technical aspects of these machines which have been developed to provide quality and class-leading specification at a highly competitive price – come in between 10-2pm and take a closer look!

We are delighted to announce that Stephan Parker is our new Deputy Manager. Stephan has been with the store since its opening and has contributed greatly to its success, his dedication and hard work means his appointment is very well deserved.

Waste to wonderCreative Corner

Seasonal events are the perfect time to get creative and there’s none better than Halloween for learning some new tricks! Here are a few ideas on how to turn your workshop waste into Halloween wonder. These decorations are easy to do, inexpensive and fun to do with your little monsters (monsters, zombies and children must always have adult supervision when operating tools and machinery).
