Fifteen of the UK’s top woodturners have come together to support Turning Against Torture in aid of the charity Freedom from Torture.

The fifteen have all used wood from Royal Greenwich Park to create beautiful pieces of woodturning which will be sold off at auction to raise funds for the charity.

Many of the top turners will be familiar names including Jason Breach (Axminster Skill Centre tutor), Nick Agar (regular guest tutor at Axminster Skill Centre) and Mark Baker (editor of Woodturning magazine).

Viewings and auction

Viewings of the pieces to be auctioned will take place at:
The Greenwich Gallery, Peyton Place, London SE10 8RS
On: Monday 30 October to Tuesday 7 November (weekdays 9.30am-5.30pm, weekends 1-5pm).
Also at:
The Trafalgar Tavern, 27 Park Row, Greenwich SE10 9NW
On: Friday 17 November (2-6pm).

The auction itself will be held at The Trafalgar Tavern on Friday 17 November from 7.30pm. More than 40 pieces of work will be put up for sale. You can also bid for items online by emailing
