Engineering Course- the details

The Axminster Skill Centre has added a new engineering course to its range of courses available.

The two day Machining Castings course begins in January 2014 and is aimed at anyone wanting to get into or go further with model engineering.  Tutored by Bob Rolph who has over thirty years of engineering experience and rebuilds classic motorcycles in his spare time, the engineering course covers areas such as machine holding, setting out and material identification. Teaching groups are no larger than five or six students. Students will receive a 5% discount on any tools they buy during the course.

What the fee includes

The price covers lunch, refreshments, course materials and use of equipment and tools within the engineering workshop. The same applies with all Skill Centre courses here at Axminster Tools and Machinery.

Bob also teaches other engineering courses including Introduction to Milling, Introduction to the Small Lathe and an intensive five day engineering course.
